Peserta yang menyelesaikan lomba sebelum batas waktu lomba, berhak mendapatkan medali penamat.
Selama lomba berlangsung, berbagai refreshments akan tersedia seperti buah segar, air mineral, dan/atau minuman isotonik.
Borobudur Marathon 2024 Menyapa telah sukses dilaksanakan pada Senin, 27 Mei 2024 di Radjawali Semarang Cultural Center, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Terdapat orkestra yang menjadi hiburan sebagai pembuka dari Borobudur Marathon 2024 Menyapa. Selanjutnya, terdapat sekumpulan penari dengan latar belakang visual Candi Borobudur yang menambah keindahan tarian tersebut. Tarian yang dibawakan memiliki cerita perjalanan Borobudur Marathon sejak awal diselenggarakan. Beberapa komunitas pelari turut hadir dan menikmati acara tersebut.
Tahun ini, Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon akan diselenggarakan pada 1 Desember 2024 mendatang dengan tema “Run On, Mark It”. Sama seperti tahun sebelumnya, Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon terbagi dalam kategori 10 kilometer, half marathon dan marathon dengan perkiraan akan diikuti oleh 10.000 pelari dan dimeriahkan oleh total hadiah sebesar Rp 2,6 miliar.

Borobudur Marathon, adalah acara maraton dan lari jarak jauh jalan raya yang dihelat setiap tahun di sekitar pelataran Candi Borobudur[3], Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia.
Penyelenggaraan Borobudur Marathon dimulai pertama kali pada tahun 2017, hingga tahun 2024 ajang yang digelar oleh Yayasan Borobudur Marathon ini telah memasuki edisi ke-8[4].
